Museum of World Culture, Gothenburg

Working with Brisac Gonzalez Architects, we developed the design of the glazed part of this building, co-ordinating services and structure with unusually large glazed wall panels and 6m high glass fins, avoiding the conventional splice plates normally used in this size of glass fin. This involved innovative use of bonded toughened glass connectors between specially-designed transoms to transfer wind loads into annealed laminated glass fins.
